Replace the hydra with {Phantom Nishoba} and you've got a 18/18 lifelink trampler that is pretty hard to kill ({Doom Blade}s aside.)  Doesn't worth in EDH with mimeo though.

Yeah that's the worst part. I just bought the devour for power deck because I've been wanting to finally play edh without having to borrow a deck. I'm so excited for it to come in!  I've been brainstorming ideas left and right. And now I finally have uses for one-of cards I have pulled. And I can buy new phyrexia boosters without feeling like I'm wasting my money because it won't rotate!

Think of the potentional of a beefed up MImeoplasm that has that ability....in EDH. Because the ability spans ALL GRAVEYARDS.  Plus I know I'll be milling creatures of my own with powers like those. HNNNNG
