I did and it makes sense but you're again diverting attention from yourself... Which is why I suspect you and if i were to switch my vote to thorn because I also believe that he's mafia I'd get heat for it right? And I was saying you've voted me twice for bandwagonning but the first bandwagon was cause it was the first round and I didn't know what was going on...the second cause I suspected you for diverting attention from yourself by analyzing others and causing others to think as you do...That's why I suspect you. And you don't analyze yourself but if you're a townie then you'd wanna get heat off your back right?

The bolded is an example of what you are supposed to do in mafia. In mafia, we detect slips and scummy behavior from other players and build cases on them. We then try to make the majority agree. If no one majority agrees, then all we get is no lynching, and who wants to wait while the mafia kills us one by one?

And the statement "get the heat off my back" is incorrect. The beauty of mafia is that not all players have to agree with you; only the majority does. I could care less if a couple people are at my back because if I get lynched then I would be a minor loss to the town. Scum, however, may overreact to a single vote. That's an example of scum play.

Honestly, I don't think it's possible to cast a vote without getting any "heat" at this stage of the debate. For example,

As soon as you read that, you suspected me, didn't you? A little bit, at least. Everyone probably is right now, because I just cast a vote, with no reason, to boot.

However, on top of all that's going on, and all of my previous suspicious, such a huge dread of being in the limelight just feels like too much to me. If you're innocent, why be so afraid of prying eyes? My vote stands.

My thoughts on the rest, well, it's been pretty well covered while I was away today (yay FNM draft - pulled me a {cavern of souls}! And stomped with a play set of {riot ringleader}s and {thatcher's revolt}s!). All I have to add:
- I keep wondering is proph is only seeming suspicious to me because he is the only experienced player, and that in and of itself makes him look iffy, or if he actually is mafia and is using that experience to his advantage. Either way his experience makes him look bad, and I can't tell which.

- thorn, nothing that hasn't been said already. He is on my suspect list, 3rd from the top maybe?

- CbStrad, like I said before, high on my list. Dodged the bullet after saying sounding kinda scummy in round 1, and after narrowly surviving, stays hidden, not to attract attention. This just doesn't sit well with me AT ALL. 2nd top of my list.

Ok about the fellow townies I do have a resonabal explenation. Hypothetically lets say I'm the mafia. What am I going to do, "Oh you townspeople just go kill the mafia"
No of course not! I'm going to say what is not an immediate give-away. Now, hypothetically again, lets say I'm a townie. What possible motives could I have for saying I'm a mafia. Of course I'll say I'm a townie everyone does. If I say I'm not one I immediately get lynched or killed. Last time, still hypothetically, lets say I'm a special, nurse, cop, if I don't say I'm a townie then mafia kill me cause I have the power to heal the wounded or find out who they are.
So back to the real world
I have no choice but to say I'm a townie all other options are instant death. The point of this game is to LIVE !!!!!!
So thats my defense...

Okay so...not voting yet...still. But anyways, here is some info on jace.

- He has previous mafia experience (see post 1)
- He displayed odd reverse-physology type stuff in post 3.
- He voted for me at the start because I was doing things in another game on the forums. I don't know why...maybe just to be funny. Who knows...
- When day 2 began, he PMed me to ask me if I was alive or not. This may be a sign of mafia because they want to kill me, or just an honest question (it was confusing a bit when I almost got voted to be lyched).

(I can give a screenshot of my PMs if neccesary...but treat it as asking someone to count the number of cards in their library..if you know what I mean lol)
- He is was the first to respond that the mafia killed badluckirish.

But ^^ coffe made some good points about Beleren, and telling us all to "settle down" is a sure sign he doesnt want us finding out more about him.
