no serra shuffles back into your library befre you can exhume. if you had somethig at instant speed it would work.

Gonna say no for 2 reasons. First is that the Avatars trigger effect for reshuffling says "ETG from anywhere". Second reason is because {Exhume} is at sorcery speed and not instant. You might be able to pull it off with an {Exhume} like card that occurs at instant speed.
