Meh it's life somethings go your way somethings don't :/ and I'm religious too but I see it differently than my dad does. Anyway cause I'm religious I just ask that you look up pascal's gambit...I tell it everyone I know that's an atheist not to offend them but cause I want them to see pascal's logic in regards to religion

Did you ever use the argument that magic increases your critical thinking and exercises your brain. I know after 5 rounds of legacy I am mentally exhausted.

Magic is more than playing spells. When you get down to if there is a high level of decisions and evaluations you have to go through.

For example mulluganing. Your dad brought up the luck factor, a player that can look at his opening hand and see his first 5 turns and decide this hand doesn't do what he wants, he can send it back.

Also decks today are built so streamlined and redundant that the "luck" factor is very small. Where the luck factor comes in is are you paired with that player who is playing a deck built to beat your plan.
