Hmm.. Would be a risky commander but you could definitely build a deck to make her work. With all 5 colors available, you could have all 5 commander vows (ie {vow of flight} and the like) to keep Korona from going after you on everyone else's turn. There's also the card that returns all permanents to their owner's control, but I forget it's name, which you could tap to take her back once per round if you need her on another's turn.

I kind of foresee a political type deck for her, with a tribal theme to take advantage of her +3/+3 ability

It's a habit thing to just blanket "he/him" when talking about cards since they aren't real people, I think. I know I make that mistake sometimes, even when I damn-well know its actually a female on the card. Heck, even here on my first post I caught myself typing "him" and had to fix it.

Anyway, thought occurs to me about Korona as a general. With every player attacking with her, that commander damage can stack up real fast. In a 4 player game, a Korona with 1 vow on her can deal 21 (lethal) commander damage to a single player before your next turn, if you and 2 other players pick on 1 guy with her.
