True.  Artifact hate will always be in any format because every format needs answers to everything.  The point that I think {Dudecore} was making was it destroys the artifact and they gain 6 life to boot.

With what you've all seen so far of M13 there's no way you would be ecstatic to see that Ninrod when you open your first pack. It'd be all "ooh, rod of nin, this is.. Uh, okay, an expensive and weird take on {Throne of Empires} plus scepter I guess"

I'd be okay with it. Sure, it's too expensive to see much use in constructed formats, but it will still find a way to be useful somewhere. I know my card draw deck would find room for it. And hey, it'd still be better than the {Jar of Eyeballs} I got from my first DA pack.
