Sorin's Ultimate + Undying

Say I have {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad} with 6 counters. If I use his -6 ability to detroy my {Vorapede}, does it come back by Sorin with no counters, or does the vorapede come back with a counter from Undying?

I'd say no counters, even if it was an oppents creature with undying. It reads as if you are getting a new creature. But I could be wrong.

Hmm they both say "when it dies/goes to the graveyard"...since they both go off at the same time, maybe you get to choose whether undying wins or his ultimate! That would be cool... :0

If you look at Sorin's rulings, it says that the creature comes to your control without the counter on it.

The sorin ability will destroy the vorapede, then the second ability of sorin will put the vorapede under the sorin's controller.   The vorapede's undying ability will trigger, and will do nothing since is no longer in the graveyard.

or to be more accurate soin's ultimate is all one ability so you resolve all of it at one time before anything else happens.

It's a stack thing and if they both had gone off at the same time you don't get to choose the order of someone else ability it goes on the stack in apnap order

Not really in this case, because Sorin's ability must completely finish resolving before any new triggers (Undying) will be put on the stack.

Not really about what?  Sorins ability goes on the stack before anything has even died yet.  Seems like a stack thing to me.   

And if you're referring to the second part I said if.  Like say sorins ability was when a creature dies gain control of it.  Then both would trigger together obviously in this case they don't happen at the same time

What I meant was that, in this case, there aren't multiple abilities being placed on the stack in any order.  One thing happens (Sorin), after that another thing happens (undying).  There are never two abilities on the stack in this case, so APNAP doesn't matter.

If we change the wording of sorin's ability to {Soul Collector}'s, for example, then yes it can become a stack thing.

Some people never think of the stack like if anybody above had thought ok let's place his ability on the stack and see what happens.  Well a spell or ability has to finish resolving  before anything else happens they wouldve had the answer

would undying even trigger? i mean by the time it makes it onto the stack there's no corresponding creature.
