When you use a flickering ability (such as {Venser, the Sojourner}'s +2 ability or {Ghostly Flicker}) on an Aura, would you be able to choose a new target to stick that Aura on, or would it fizzle?

TBNL

You could choose a new target

BlackJester

FYI: if an aura would enter the BF, you can attach it to any legal permanent without targeting it. Great vs hexproof.

If you flicker mind control does your opponent get their creature back?

Yes. Unless you choose the same creature to target when Mind Control returns

Yes but u can just put it back on

Maximo

That depends. If it was stolen with an aura like {Mind Control},MC would fall off and be destroyed, and the creature would return under your control forever. If it was something like {Sower of Temptation} it'd be fine and you could later flicker the sower to go again. Either way you'll keep the creature forever.

Now say you were to flicker both (say, flashing a {Restoration Angel} on a hacked creature after hitting the Mind Control with Venser's ability), what would happen?

not too sure what you're going for here. if you allow venser to resolve first then restore the controlled creature the mind control falls off. if you restore with venser on the stack then mind control still falls off.
