Database update

Database update (current 70.0 195+) sends me to a purchase screen and proceeds to say 'connecting'  at the top of the screen. Is there a purchase required to update? Or is it a bug? Thanks in advance!

No, we have planned this move since 2011 and that is why the description of "Have it All" always included the annoying "but excludes monthly iMtG Server access fee" sentence.

So it is not a bug, just a feature of our long term business model.

The "Connecting..." info window stuck on the Shop view screen if you are on a quick connection to the nearest App Store is a bug and will be fixed in the next version, thanks for reporting ;)

It is just that till now I was giving it to you for free while you were being Podesta about it ;] I remember you personally exhausted your rights to boss me around YEARS ago, BTW.

Don't feel too bad, I bought it all about a year ago along with "buy the author a beer" just for the laugh.. Overall had a really fairly bad experience/s despite my best efforts. Been a month or two, and still waiting on Commander 2016 set & Aether Revolt Set to be available on this app, those are the main two off the top of my head, unless more is missing.

Not sure if it's been updated or not (I'll try & check later tonight) but I was recently made aware of new mulligan rules in EDH.


First - trade issues? Did you bring up a trial or mention it to a moderator?


Second: aether revolt and commander 2016 have been in the database for a good minute

Database is 4.6.2 - Is that not up to date then?
I've been refreshing the data base every couple of days but always says "Up to date".
Checked card expansions to see every time..

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but, What would be the point?
The other party has already traded away what we agreed on, the high priority cards I wanted shortly before/after he got my end.. And he's karma & reputation are much higher than mine, so he'd win straight off the bat.

7.0.4 rev 199 is most current. Commander 2016 and aether revolt are present


As far as trading goes:

You need to tell mods when you're ripped off. Karma and time here is not enough to default a trial if someone scammed you.

Please PM me details; if you do not report a crime, then no justice will happen.

Plenty of forum regulars from the past may post like crazy and never trade. Calling out liars and scammers is a community effort to keep trading here safe

Not terribly sure what's happening then, I'm using a 4s & I've only been on this app about a year now, no where near November 2013. I find that rather baffling.

In terms of trading, I gave up & cut my ties. I'd traded with that person 3-4 times before, but after months of no contact & eventually finding out they had traded away part of what we agreed on, felt fairly defeated. I'm just glad it was only $20-30 & not in the 100s+
I did everything that was expected of me, and even threw in bonus' on top that were on their needed. I sent on time, was good with communication (when they finally responded) etc etc, and they even confirmed they had received it.
I stressed over it for months, quite frankly it wasn't worth it. I got screwed, that's the end of it. I haven't traded on here since.

Sidenote - the bannings & such haven't been addressed yet, are they in that recent patch?
I'll need to update manually then.

I mean if you're not gonna tell me who it was we can't help you. You forget that perhaps other people may trade with that person and I would like to let other users know this person flakes.

It is/was Beechlander, I figured I'd post it here (despite my hesitance & few good trades we've had). Last message received from him was 17th of December last year, we're now mid March.

I'm only just now pointing it out because;
1. Someone decided to neg all my Karma over it.
2. I've just bought all the cards he had agreed to send but after 6-8 months of nothing, I figured they weren't even coming. I've decided that as TheMugz has pointed out, it's much kinder to alert others so they're not waiting almost a year on a trade. I Apologize for responding so late to the situation, I didn't want to throw him under the bus as I know a lot of this community have traded rather well & frequently with him.
