Pridemages are better in creature oriented Abzan lists that run either company's or chords. This control list I'm using runs abrupt decays and maelstrom pulses so when it comes to destroying artifacts or enchantments I think I'll be fine!

If you're playing against boggles or affinity I know  {Fracturing Gust} is a good abzan sideboard! It's a broader spectrum so it gets around the hexproof and protection!

Yup it is! If I was running noble hierarchs like other lists do id consider it but without the ramp I feel like I'd most likely be dead VS those matchups turn 5 lol

So has the primarily spell list worked better than the creature heavy lists? A friend of mine didn't like his creature version and turned it into a abzan token theme!

Yah well the creature heavy list known as baby Abzan or wilted Abzan was strong about a year ago but now a days it's not as competitive.


Where as this list just has answers upon answers and is similar to jund. The only reason I prefer Abzan is because I like white more than I do red. Lingering souls are better than Lightning bolts to me.

Best form of removal in the format, may have a downside but pretty much gets rid of any creature. Definitely doesn't fall short like a bolt would. Lol
