Scapeshift + 7 Lands + Fetch {Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle} (and 6 Mountains} = 18 dmg

8 lands = 36 dmg

9 lands = potentially 54 damage lol

Yeah it's pretty sweet. The fogs are my own addition with aggro decks being so rampant right now.

The only thing I dislike about this deck is people's lack of knowledge of it. Taking it to fnm or using it on cockatrice is a hassle. You combo off and people swear up and down that they only take 3 or 6 damage. Then you must explain that the lands all come in at the same time and that's when they check for the six, then they say you're lying, then you're mad because they callin you a liar, then you get banned from your LGS for beating up an 11 year old, then court, then probation, all because.... scapeshift.

Well that's the other players problem for being a nob. Sure a total newbie won't know, but any person who goes to regular FNM's should know how etb effects work when multiple things hit the field at once.

Plus you can always just point out the deck online to people. If it didn't work you would not find so many variations of it online.

But always make Scapeshift play it out lol sometimes they got unlucky and drew too many mountains! Lol happened to my friend in the top 8 of a PPTQ he was one mountain shy of lethal lol

Oh yah, they could also have their Valakuts in hand and forget about that. That happened to a dude I played once. Easy win. Lol
