I found this deck list online. I would like to play it in a mildly casual group

Two people had a copy of it (original and a copy) and no one could advance anywhere.... Finally after a stack of over 10 spells killed one player to infect, another to commander damage and the third to a {Quicken}/{Grapeshot} finish all in one turn... Let me tell you cards like {Moat} and its offspring make my skin crawl in edh

No-one had a drain effect? Just have them lose that last one life by {blood artist} or something.

Counter spells and the deck I played didn't have drain. I had a {Sliver Overlord} deck which did the infect and commander damage. The other guy already used {Tendrils of Agony} and was exiled.
