This one has been bothering me for a while.  I have a flipped  {Hanweir Militia Captain} ({Westvale Cult Leader}) and then four 1/1 creatures. My opponent casts  {Languish} and it resolves. What would happen to the  {Westvale Cult Leader} and why?

It's a 5/5 with -4/-4 marked on it.
State based actions kill all the tokens.
It's now a 1/1 with -4/-4 marked on it.

It dies as a state based action.

Totally correct. Cult leader's P/T is constantly modified to match the board state.

That you two so much!  I run  {Hanweir Militia Captain} and  {Veteran Warleader} in my standard deck so it's pretty important tonknownthe interaction seeing as languish is pretty frequently side boarded against humans.

Does this same rule apply for damage? For example if I had the same situation and cast  {Radiant Flames} for 1 color.

Yeah. 1 damage is marked on all the creatures. That kills all 1/1 tokens. P/T of cult leader is changed to 1/1 if it's the last creature you control, state based actions place it in your graveyard.
