GP Charlotte

So today I won a modern GPT for Charlotte. Should I make the trip? 2 byes off the bat sounds great. It's a 17 hour drive. Halfway through I'd jump in someone else's car in Nashville stay the night, then continue the next morning in his vehicle to the event.

Well the thing is I can use my company fuel card for free gas the whole way, where as itd be a large chunk of money for the airplane tickets :/

Goes to show how spoiled I am.
I was gonna suggest train as budget alternative. A quick bit of googling later suggests that's not the case...
Taken Houston as departure gives you a 8 hour trip to New Orleans, thrice a week, then 17 hours to Charlotte.

My country feels small now...
(3 hour drive from the eastern border to the western)..
