Plus Riot already does have a referral/invite deal that you can get riot points and skins from. Why would they run a special thing when they already do a inviting deal already?

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Let me go smack my impressionable head against the wall.  Stupid scams, popping up, making me hopeful.

redwolv

It's understandable. Riotpoint scams are some of the most convincing cause they are very "offical" a full on website just about lol. Not some guy in game spaming "selling gold 15mill for ~$4.63"

If you really are looking for free rp go to twitch. Some streamers do rp card giveaways. I found a guy one time when he was doing an unschduled one and giving away two $10 cards. I won one of them; he sent me a message with the cards code, pluged it in on the game and got my points. :)

LinkCelestrial

Magikarp used fly also has giveaways with his fantasy lcs.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Yeah I sign up for that whenever I remember to

New champion has been spoiled for the most part.  Damage for abilities has not been really shown, but we know what it's abilities do.  Seems like a cool jungler, and the passive can bring about some cool mindgames.  Overall Kindred looks pretty cool

redwolv

I will be picking them up. I love adc junglers, i have a vayne build that is just scary while jungling with devoure. Their kit is suprisingly well rounded.

LinkCelestrial

That ult though. Add a Zilian, Bard, Zyhonia's and GA and you've got yourself somebody that can't die.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Alright, so the more I have been playing bard, the more I've been wondering he would be better as a roaming support, (ganking and helping the jungler) than a regular support.  His kit would suggest so with its high mobility and ways to lock down the enemy so others can properly position themselves.  And with his chimes giving him experience, and the potential kills, he should stay up in levels with his team, and putting the other team behind.  So what kind of team comp do you think bars would fit in the most, and what level does he begin to simply roam around the map?

redwolv

Bard support can roam but only if they are winning lane. If your lane is behind you would make it worse. It's one of the skill things that just come from playing game after game.

If you really want to roam alot. Try bard jungle. Its important that you watch your team comp. but he proveds decent ganks with his Q. His health packs give sustain. I normally do it when my friend is playing a kill support like annie or vel, koz.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Bard jungle just doesn't have the stats I really want in a jungler and although he has sustain, I still as him having severe problems there.

What I mean is having a team comp around an arc that can fend for themselves well (and of course if it isn't going well you would go back) but bard would be a champion that could support the map as a whole and functions as a roaming support instead of a regular support.  With the plethora of mobility, and ways he could seriously help the jungler speed up farm, and with decent cc for ganks and the speed to zip around the map with his passive and E, if the adc does well on their own, he could be used in that way.  But then again it would have to go with a team comp set in mind.  If bard helps speed up the jungler and sustain him, suddenly the jungler is getting plenty of farm and positioning help for ganks, leveling and experience, and bard would just get exp from the ganks, occaisinal in lane appearance, and the chimes.
I love playing bard as a support (I've been winning a lot of solo queue games with him, and I have consistently gotten A's) he's just a fun champion with a lot of surprising ways to help get your adc to safety, and a lot of early game poke.  I may make him my main soon, along with lulu and Alastair. :D

redwolv

I will say i like him paired with trist. Her wave clear and tower killing are both strong plus she has rocket jump if things get hairy. Lets them take a tower quickly or for her to hold out while bard roams.

LinkCelestrial

I remember when I got an S+ with Bard...can't do much with him now. Teams just don't work together well enough for him to be effective how I play him. Any tips?

On the roaming support idea, you need self sufficient lanes. I can't really think of any ADCs that can hold their own 2v1 in even matchups.

Maybe Varus building more caster than ADC could work. Or Mordakiser if you get enough dragons. xD

Or you could flip the map. Have a strong top lane like Irelia or Garen take bot, have top lane Varus, Vayne, Ezreal or perhaps Tristana or Caitlyn. Bard roams with jungle a bit then starts dropping shrines where they're needed when they're needed and ganks/supports wherever.

I feel like it's a bit of a bad idea. But it could work...I'd rather do duo top three smite though.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Bards ult and Q.  For the most part his other two abilities are simple, place shrines, heal by targeting when nessicary, and place a portal to escape or maneuver around the map.  His Q does require some skill to land a stun, but look at the champion and then look at all possible things you could hit behind them or in front.  Hitting a creep in front of them and stunning them is just as good as hitting a creep, wall, tower, or champ behind them (sorta, personally rather'd have two champs stunned but you can take what you get).  If there is not a stun option around, the slow is plenty potent.   Understand its travel speed and leash length for a stun and you should be fine.

For the ult, the best way to practice with it is to understand you are bad at it.  You will not get it right at first, and that's ok just keep practicing it.  Start first by aiming at fleeing enemies.  If you can get them, awesome you can catch up and your team can (most likely) kill them.  If not, it's fine, it isn't a game ending miss, and no one on your team died because of it.  After you've gotten used to it, and have done consecutively well with landing it, move on to disengaging closing in enemies.  More possible gain from landing, more possible loss for missing.  After that, go for saving allies who are low from a big attack from an enemy (brand ult).  Then to teamfights, and soon you'll really understand when to use your ult and where to aim it, the delay in the effect all of it.  It's one of (if not the) biggest part of his kit.  If not for...

HIS MEEPS AND LANE SUSTAIN AGHHHH!!!  He has ridiculous mana sustain and it is so amazing, understand when it is ok to leave lane, and when you need mana because bard does run out of mana.  Here's then thing, just go collect chimes to gain it back, and the movement speed buff from it helps you do it quickly and get back to lane.  Place your shrines, and relplace them when they are used.  The grounded heal has more healing then the point and click after it has charged up, but I find the target heal has more utility in fights.  And his meeps are the essential part of his kit, not his ult, not his q, not his sustain, nope it's his meeps.  Know how fast they come back to you, know how many you have, know when to attack in order to maximize the effectiveness of your slow (try to not just auto attack, make it so right when one slow ends, the other begins), know when you get your cone, and how big it is, just know your meeps.  They give you AMAZING early game harras, and late game, an AOE slow is awesome, especially when you can apply it four times (if you get 4 meeps).

That about sums up my post
