Notes:

Rothsteine

I want to know what you think, and if j should take out a tnn or 2 and put in removal

Mr_Fahrenheit

Am I right to assume this is a budget list because you dont have any {tundra} etc ?

Rothsteine

Yeah no tundra of force of wills, but I want to make it as competitive as possible

Rothsteine

Within my fairly large budget

Mr_Fahrenheit

A red splash for {lightning bolt}, {pyroclasm}, blasts etc or a black splash for {deathrite shaman} and/or discard would be ideal, but if your land base is budget you probably wouldnt be able to pull it off. In saying that, playing shocklands will cost you, because your life points really do matter in legacy, but if you really wanna play then by all means use shocks, just be prepared to lose a few extra games because of it.

The main suggestion I can make is maybe run a couple of {gitaxian probe}s and more {spell pierce}. You can cut a TNN or two for them. Not really much removal you can play without going into red or black since you already have {swords to plowshares}. And not having {force of will} does limit you quite significantly as you dont have any real way to fight the quick, unfair decks.

Mr_Fahrenheit

Oh and i nearly forgot. Try to get hold of a couple of {wasteland}s if you can.

Whether you have forces or not, don't play {Daze}, it doesn't work in this deck. If you want to have some level of early protection, play more {Spell Pierce}/{Spell Snare}/{Flusterstorm}.

I'd add a {Sword of Fire and Ice}, possibly another {Vendilion Clique}.

{Back to Basics} would also be a nice addition to the sideboard, as well as {Ethersworn Canonist}.

All great suggestions. Adding more fetches when you have them available would be good as well. With  {Engineered Explosives} You also want at least a splash of another color to hit more than 2cmc permanents.

Tbh I actually like 2 colors for {engineered explosives}, since there are a lot of 2 drops I don't want down in modern, but I get your point

Yeah. It's still good for the two drops, but like for  {True-Name Nemesis} On the opponents side gives you only one out in the deck:  {Council's Judgment}, where with EE you have another removal item that is recur able with  {Academy Ruins}
