Wanted to see if anyone else had different opinions on it.

I am not a fan of the board wipe package, 2 drown, 2 languish, 2 crux. Personally would run 4 crux, and add two {silumgar's scorn}, put 2 languish/drown in sideboard. But it depends on your meta, if your lgs has alot of small, aggro things your current package would be good.

How is your land base working for you? Any issues with not getting the needed coloring?

The land actually works out very well. As long as I have one Swamp I can normally use enough removal until I draw into double black or the color I need.
