I am going to sound like a bragging jerk here.  I am just so damn excited I cannot help but share.  I just made a second quarter bonus and I will just say it was almost 5 figures!

I am a senior project manager.  I get a percentage of gross profit for my bonus.  I control schedule and costs of projects assigned to me.  The job is also about having good people skills with subordinates, peers, upper management, and most importantly customers.  I go a little beyond duties by soliciting more work from customers and it helps me win more bids and those projects are assigned to me.  I run a hybrid model of internal employees and sub contractors.

It is safe to say i love my job and i think i do it well.  It is nice to see the new change of our bonus structure paying off.  Last quarter for example i made a lot less.

I have plans to hook up my construction manager and administrative assistant.  My crews get so much overtime they already make $100k/year.........not that I am not grateful to them.......I show gratitude to my ground guys in other means that they appreciate more
