Mindslaver lock

Ik it's possible with 10 mana a turn( with {prototype portal} and {mindslaver}) but I'm looking for a way to make it quicker, is there a way?

Welder, exiles propagator, then exiles mindslaver. Them makes copies of itself with the both abilities.

this doesn't work... the copy welders won't have the imprints the original have

There must be a way to break mindslaver without the mana cost of {prototype portal}. Is there anything like a {nomad mythmaker} for artifacts instead of auras?

wait...further smash it... The welder would have 'tap: put a copy of myr propagator onto the battlefield' wouldnt he..? So he would be making propagators not more welders
