Ah went with the axe, then the saw, been repeating the same zone for so long that I've worn the durability down, so may start over and try the cane hah

Definitely spend your echoes early when you can. Buying molotovs and potions. And the charged attack with the hunters axe is super op. You can knock down most opponents (including bosses) and you can also swing through walls. saw cleaver is fine and the threaded cane is the worst of the 3 imo. Threaded cane is ok for pvp but pretty bad for pve. And practice parrying with your gun as much as you can. The earlier you get it the easier the game will be.

I mean the moveset is cool, but is just does much less damage then the others when upgraded. And getting to the first boss can be done with fists so getting there with the threaded cane is nbd.

All other arguments are invalid, clearly the best weapon is the one that looks the coolest.  The logic is infallible.

But in all honesty I do the exact same thing in any RPG XD

Been feeling the need for a hack-and-slash adventure. So I've been back on Dynasty Warriors, about to bounce between that and Demons' Souls. Because apparently, I'm a horrid masochist XD
