Whiteytokens

Let me know what you think I'm pretty much a new event player and I'm on a tight budget I could only make with what I could afford

Kaylesh

How is {master of the feast} working out?
Yeah it's a possible T3 (or even T2 with mystic) 5/5 flyer, but it's giving your opponent quite some card advantage without really punishing them for the draw.

EDIT: how about I link the right card..

Whiteytokens

Well it works in a pinch but I'm on a budget and I don't really wanna copy other decks so if you can suggest something straight forward and inexpensive I'd appreciate it I'm trying to go for straight up damage quickly while having some chump blockers just in case that's why most of my creatures cost three or less I hate waiting for mana for good creatures

Whiteytokens

I basically use master as a bait for counter spells

Kaylesh

In a multiplayer I'd think a third {nighthowler} would be bigger.
On another thought trample really combines nicely with {archetype of finality}. Something like {overrun} as a finisher?
Trample + deathtouch means 1 damage is lethal for the creature, rest goes to player.

It works... It's a scary enough body if you can't cope with it. Personally when thinking control I'd say no to counter, yes to {pacifism} or the like though. Give me my cards!!!

Whiteytokens

Yes I wouldn't mind a third night howler but I only had the two I just recently had to bring in the parapets cause ten of my cards cycled out of standard so my festering newts were gone and my belustrade spy's but I like your ideas

Whiteytokens

But other than that would you consider this deck to be a big threat or an easy deck to beat be honest I'm still learning strategy

Whiteytokens

I just don't want a copy and pasted deck I want it to be my own you know what I mean I don't want to go to FNM and play the same one or the same decks over and over

Kaylesh

Yeah, I know what you mean. I like to build my own as well. Not too much of a competitive player though, so can't really say something about hard to beat in FNM.

Whiteytokens

Alright but if I were to vs you would you have a hard time or would you just kick my ass like a lil kid lol

Would totally depend on the deck I'm playing. Creature heavy nonremoval style or stalling control, got too many decks really. That's what you get..
But if an opponent can remove your big threats, or carry graveyard removal, I think that's the hardest matchup. I think you have decent speed vs pure aggro, which most of my decks are.
Maybe we should run some casual wall games one day, and see.
