Notes:
Threw this together after seeing Kaliaas with haste's list :) no snap casters or tarns either. Also, don't dis the {Death Denied} it's a spectacular card when people thoughtseize Keranos he's back simple as that. Also, I feel as though it makes up for snapcaster(nothing will replace him I know) but at least my creature threats can keep coming back :)

Keranos seems pretty bad. Delver is aiming to get ahead fast and stay ahead. Keranos is a card for stabilizing or grinding out your opponent by bolting their everything and drawing more cards than them.

Not every game is over in the first 4 turns, so stabilizing, and drawing while controlling doesn't seem too bad especially since I only have 16 damage worth of burn. So the extra draw isn't too bad and this deck isn't about beating them as fast as possible it's about controlling board state, getting rid of threats(t-seize, inquisition), and gradually beating them with delvers, tasigur, and pyro.

Honestly the reason I threw this together was to be able to have a 4th member on our team at the next 2 events we have next month. I will be loaning this to them to use at the pptq and see how they do with us seeing as some good magic players can't afford decent modern cards.

Also, fyi {telling time} helps delver trigger instant speed the EOT so that's why I chose it over {serum visions}

Also, Keranos is an indestructible enchantment that will never leave the board because he'll never become a creature and get killed from path to exiles which is what the meta is running heavily

Well of course every game isn't over in the first four turns. But delver decks want to be far ahead at that point and using counterspells and cheap threats to keep themselves ahead until their opponent is dead. If you get to 5 mana, you have to tap out which kinda sucks and then you can try to stabilize whilst you're already ahead because you played delver on turn 1, mana leaked their tasigur and bolted their birds of paradise.

Well since this is a control deck, Keranos would never come down turn 5 to be honest he wouldn't hit the board till t7 or t8 unless someone path to exiled one of my creatures and I have additional mana. That's just not how I personally would play him but everyone has their own opinion and I think he's a great card and saw a similar deck I think in the born of the gods pro tour being used on one of the highlight matches and Keranos was mainboard and wrecking shop so it's fine :)

Oh I see, you're looking at this as a control deck. Have you looked into cruel control? Or grixis control without cruel ultimatum? If yo want to play grixis control, I'd recommend cutting pyromancer and delver

I have, a friend of mine actually runs cruel ultimatum. But I'm gonna try this and see how it runs before I just sac the attempt at it

I'm unsure. About the direction you want to take here. Delver Wants a tempo deck but you seem to want to be more controlling which makes delver worse. Maybe it's worth cutting them and going heavier in the control?

LinkCelestrial

I've heard that Ashiok is fantastic as you tap out turn 3 and eventually win with Ashiok or force your opponent to redirect some of their fire power. Ashiok is, however, sideboard material in most metas.

Actually guys I tore this deck apart to help someone else finish their pure grixis delver list. I just don't know how to delete this thread when others have posted on it. I apologize for the inconvenience.
