Would he make a good Commander? Because i want to build a deck around him.

I have been experimenting with Muzzio lately and it seems fun and easy to run

{Muzzio, Grand Arcitect} is great.

He doesn't attract hate. Blue is a strong colour. Artifacts are hella good. Play muzzio

Why would {muzzio, visionary artificer} NOT attract hate? I see a creature that says: {3}{U}, pull out evil wincon. {blightsteel colossus} is an artifact too, you know.

Yes but people don't see him as as much ofs threat because he does not directly impact any of the opponents when he hits play like say {Memnarch} or {Kaalia of the vast} would he's a different type of powerful and the opponents will usually choose to ignore you for a little while.

Ah, direct threat vs indirect threat. Now it becomes obvious I never played any proper (read big) EDH games. Mostly limited to 3 players due to not enough friends to play with.

{Jalira, Master Polymorphist} is another example of a "muzio" type of commander.. . Not aN immediate threat but enough of a threat when a deck is built around

I've seen a modern deck built around her here on the forum that will put down a {blightsteel colossus} for a token every time, since the colossus is the only nonlegendary. I would love to pull that off in EDH, but I think her being monoblue would limit the list of legendary critters you can put in it.

Well, {grand architect} is not a legendary creature. Since we were talking commanders I assumed it had to be visionary instead of grand. (Did a search on Muzzio to find her name)

NP man. I didn't feel jumped really. And you are totally right, two really different cards. Only thing they have in common is they do something with artifacts and are both blue.
