You ever used funeral charm?  It hoses mana dorks and other 1 toughness threats.  It is instant discard when your opponent is top decking.....it becomes a lock condition.  The swampwalk could be a game winner but that is a long shot.  Biggest point is the card is super versatile.  I am open to reasons other cards are better.......let me know thoughts

Take out Murklurker, IMO

He is a meta call. 

I see a lot of burn and he passes the bolt threat.  lifegain also extends the race match I will have against abzan.

I don't know. I just feel like this deck needs more threats than it has (I play your creatures -1 snap +2 gurmag angler +1 tas -clique and still feel like I don't draw threats enough. You end up needing thought scour to support that and in order to make room for them I think funeral charm is the right cut. Also, murderous cut seems like it would be putting a bit too much stress on the GY if you play a few more delve creatures. On modernnexus.com there have been a couple good articles about the deck by a known guy from MTGSalvation.

I do have a soft spot for funeral charm.  Maybe I take all 3 out and add 1 tasigur, 1 angler, and 1 git probe or maybe put in 3 thoughtscour........bah IDK?  I do feel like the deck as enough threats so 2 more creatures is about all I want to add if anymore at all.


All I will say about funeral charm is it is an early game versatile card and a mid game lock out the opponent when he is running off top deck.  Ideally I already used charm and I flash in snappy on opponents draw step to deny them.......that is best case scenario for that card........use it once and then abuse the hell out of it with snappy or direct from hand.  I just feel it is not a bad draw mid game whereas other cards are.
