Does doomwake giants constelation ability target players or the players creatures? In this case I have an inkwell Leviathan and oppenent has doomwake giant can the -1/-1 be applied to Leviathan or does the shroud protect it

Yea things are only being targeted when the word "target" is specifically used. Also an object is being targeted when you attempt to enchant it with a spell like {rancor} or equipping with something like {sword of fire and ice}.
