My opponent attacks with Erebos, has the devotion. If I {hero's downfall} his other creature to cancel her devotion, is she still doing damage?

This would do an awesome movie scene.  {Erebos, God of the Dead} gigantic god hand is coming down to crush you, and in the last second you throw a spear killing one of her  {Agent of Erebos}. Her hand instantly goes through you like a ghost and she instantly becomes translucent

His^^ questoned the sex of the god at first, then looked at artwork and his chest is completely bare. I doubt they'd do that on a female

true. From a second look it doesnt look very feminine. Its very androgenous. I dont think Erebos can be defined
