Mana base: a {Blood Moon} compatible setup.

{Spitemare}/{Boros Reckoner}: The reason this deck exists. But more on that later.

{Soulfire Grand Master}: I'm running a lot of high damage spells. The sustain he provides is great, and he's also a decoy as he's not central to my strategy.

{Swans of Bryn Argoll}: Possibly the best addition to this deck. Turning all my burn into draw so I can get the combo pieces I need. It's also a half decent finisher.

{Lightning Helix}: Sustain and removal and a combo piece. All in one.

{Shivan Meteor}: Draw a ton of cards, deal a ton of damage or just remove something.

{Flame Slash}: Removal in the early game, damage and card draw in the mid/late game.

{Lightning Bolt}: See above.

{Boros Charm}: I can finish off my opponent, save my creatures or maybe have a relevant double strike target.

{Dictate of the Twin Gods}: Just wait.

How the deck works: {Boros Reconner} + {Dictate of the Twin Gods} + {Shivan Meteorite}. There are multiple different ways to pull it off but that's the most explosive.

griffin131

Run snow lands and {Skred}.

NovusOrbis

This is pretty much Bug {Skred} back when it was a thing. A fun deck regardless. And I like the inclusion of {soul fire grandmaster}

LinkCelestrial

How did I miss {Skred}? I'll make some room.

Disagreed. People just aren't playing enough creatures lately, and my 15 isn't going to help. I have been debating it or {Chain Reaction} for the sideboard.

I think {Furnace of Rath} is modern.
If it is it's just better than dictate imo

I'm forced to disagree. I considered it but one more mana for less symbol intensive and flash is a pretty big deal.

It allows you to go off a turn earlier which is good

And extremely dangerous. The reason {Dictate of the Twin Gods} is better is because I don't let my opponent take advantage of it. I have a hard time thinking of decks that doubling their damage turn four isn't suicide.

Kaalia with haste

Sooo {blasphemous act} exists. Seems good
