Lets do ante?

I mean, even without a ban list, playing an ante card doesn't force your opponent to ante does it? You would just be forced to ante I believe.

I would love to see the following reprinted sometime in the near future:

{Glimpse the unthinkable}
{Grove of the burnwillows}
{Celestial colonnade}

{Fulminator mage} and {iona, shield of emeria} were also on my list but luckily enough are included in MM2015.

Well they can quit the game with some ante cards

Nowadays you can forfeit at any time.
And the ante cards strictly tell you to remove them from your deck if not playing for ante.
That would make for a smaller deck though.
