That's an average church experience. Everyone expects everyone to be perfect.

I sure as hell don't.

Imo I think it's more of a small town church. Where everybody is in everyone else's business.

I know it's easy for me to write this but it will get better. Find out your outlets that make you feel good, and try to do as much of that as possible. (But make sure you keep up with all your responsibilities [ chores, school work, etc.]). For me music and basketball where my outlets. Also if you can find someone you trust to talk to that helps (at least my wife tells me that ).

This is good advice ^.^ my only outlet right now is cutting (tee hee) but I have people helping me with that so hopefully all this junk will get better xD

Well I would strongly recommend against cutting. Have you tried running or biking. Or some other type of way to physically challenge your body. I know after exercise I feel much better.

Not saying that everyone does, but the norm is for them to "help prevent others from falling into eternal condemnation"

/shrug. With the amount of churches here it seems they just want to make sure you keep donating to theirs.

I cut because I felt the need to do /something/. You can't always hop on your bike or go for a run when that happens. But they are the much better options. I stopped because it stopped working and I was scared what would happen if I tried to make it work. I filled the void with video games and stuff.

I'd like to say I've been free and clear but I did it last week because I was having a very rough conversation. I don't hardly remember thinking about it. But it worked and now I'm having a hard time staying clean...I was good for like a year damn it!

All of this is to say that stopping is hard. Try writing on yourself. Worked for me for a while. But I kept forgetting to carry around a pen.

I didn't want to list a million things. Just toss out a few ideas.

And I thank you for that. It is helpful to go for a bike or run when it gets bad. Just not always practical.

And this is the point where I don't know what is ok to post.

If you cross a line we'll let you know.
