I probably wouldn't even have boarded it in against pod. Hitting 4 (maybe 5 with spell skite) cards in a MU probably isn't worth it. It's better against affinity and TOTALLY hoses tron early and doesn't even suck late.

It's not that bad against tron. We are still able to get our tron together, albeit 1-2 turns later. It runs 3 {nature's claim} in the side to deal with it. And if it hits later than t2, it doesn't matter anymore, because {expedition map} has already been cracked.

There's still {Oblivion Stone}.

Oh no!  {pitching needle} stops {Lilliana of the veil}!  . That's a very small part of tron's game plan. Both karn and ugin can remove it. It's just a mild annoyance for tron

I started out with a {Leyline of Sanctity} on the field, then turn 2'd a {Stony Silence}. From that point on, it was ugly.

I'd take that challenge :p
But that's me, I'm not one to scoop unless defeat is but a turn away and there's nothing I can do to stop it. Even then I might try to bluff my way through. Then again, I don't do that much competitive MTG.
