You draw 1 card. He deals damage once. If he were to have double strike then you would draw 2. How much damage he does doesn't matter just counts the number of times he connects. I'm presuming we are talking combat damage here

Should you not be talking about combat, every time you use it's ability it deals 1 damage. So say you activate 5 times, it will deal damage 5 times, you draw 5.

But bottom line: count the times he hits, not the damage he does. Should you have a {furnace of rath} he will deal 2 dmg per hit, but you still draw 1.
