So far 0-2

First match was

1-2 vs miracles, first game was Grindy, went about 30 minutes, 2nd game I disarmed his hand really fast with hymn and 3rd game in order to not make it a draw for time, we played fast, he got an entreat the angels that just beat my face after I got my board terminus'd.

Match 2 was vs naya Stoneforge. First game was a struggle and eventually I loss to batterskull. 2nd game he cleared me pretty fast

Rest of tournament

3rd was a draw vs JUND - 3 great grindy games, we went into time and drew

4th matchup was vs a grixis build - almost had him 2-0 and in game 2, he pulls a blood moon finally when hes at 3 life. I was done at that point (always grab basics after 3 duals is my lesson there) - 3rd game. Pulled the sideboard dream - thougtseize turn one. Get out a blood moon fromhand, then surgical extraction blood moon. Cost me 5 life. BUT DAMN THAT FELT GOOD. He eventually pulled out on top as we almost went to time again. 1-2

5th matchup was vs artifacts (mud?)- he locked me down with chalice t1 game1 and I missed a few land drops so that didn't help either. 2nd game thoughtsieze was MONEY, took his chalice, then fow'd his monolith, wastelanded his stuff. Got a goyf t2 that just put the quick beats in, he forgot some math with my creeping tar pit. 3rd game, he locked me out, but since he was dropping gave me the win for 2-0. Nice guy

6th matchup was vs an esper brew deck featuring torrent elemental, baleful strixs and vindicates, we had a long grindy game 1, and game 2, I put in multiple goyfs and tasigur for nasty beats. Won 2-0.

So didn't win any staples, but REALLY enjoyed playing mydeck in person (as were all the players) now I dont know if I'll show up for FNMs at that store for legacy, but definitely feel like this format is far more attractive than modern for my taste.

Sounds like a fun tournament! 6 rounds is a little rough. What time did it start? Glad you had fun!

1pm ended around 6pm

It was great though, learned a lot about the format and my deck, I play a little too aggressively and sometimes end up topdecking, may add another thoughtseize. I'll try my untap build with balefuls in the main, but clique has proven really nice MB, helps prevent decks from getting their needed card.

I've been playing a lot of Sultai Delver lately, and it' been treating me rather well. I play 1 true name in the main, and one in the board. The decklists are pretty similar between shardless and Delver, though, so it won't take much to change between them.
