Trading alphas?

so I have some alphas.

No power. No duals. Nothing that would be >$500 NM (and most of mine are played)

One of my best is a SP/MP Serra Angel. I am considering trading it at ~$120. I also am considering trading away "bulk" $1-$4 cards like samite healer.

Any advice? Is there a better time to sell? Is the alpha Serra angel "spike" we are in temporary or a sign that people really love Angels and the price will keep climbing?  Alphas like lightning bolt and Serra angel have doubled in value over the past year, but I expect that was just a market correction.

Discuss! Advise me!  :)

Do you have an alpha {Birds of Paradise}

Dsx Cherno

Alpha BoP is almost $1000

Ieatfood7

No. No alpha BoP.

Looking more for general/#mtgfinance type advice. The only card I have an outstanding offer on is Serra angel

I'll be trading on Pucatrade if I do (gotta love their shipping guaranty...message me for a federal sign up link if you want to get into or learn more about the pucatrade site)

Grade them

That's a good idea except that the best ones are the most played. Not much gained by grading a MP card or a NM circle of protection.

Posting a list would be helpful.

I'm not looking for offers. I'm looking for general advice. I assume that everyone else here is about as novice as me when it comes to mtg finance stuff.

I am flattered by your requests on specific cards though. :)

If I trade, it will be on Puca trade because of the shipping guaranty. If you want to use my referral code I'll see what you want and tell what of it I have (and give you the trade in event of a tie...usually every pucatrade is a tie but with played condition cards it gets fuzzy)
