I'm looking to get into the casual EDH scene. I've played a bit on cockatrice but don't actually have a deck, and I want you guys to help me make one. It needs to be cheap, definitely. And it needs to be fun. Not infinite turns, not super fast win, not mindless agro, nothing like that. Hit me. Anything you got. 3 colour preferred.

My friend had a fun  {Sydri, Galvanic Genius} Deck, just a bunch of quirky artifacts that animate to attack ( {Darksteel Forge},  {Darksteel Reactor},  {Thoughtcast} ). Or you can be political with her and animate other people's artifacts in response to your own board wipe/someone else's.

Another fun suggestion would be  {Roon of the Hidden Realm}. He can be a very good commander, as you can attack in with him then use his ability on opponents turns to have value with ETB creatures ( {Mulldrifter}, {Reveillark}, {Thragtusk} )

What's your favorite 3 color combination? That might help me understand more what you're looking for.
