Do you mean for trample?

The rulings say that the creature has deal 0 damage to get across.(I can't link them, but that is what I found.)

Are you referring to assigning lethal damage to blocking creatures from a creature with trample? If you are, then it's treated as blocked by a 0/0 creature or as if there was a blocking creature that died before damage. All damage from a creature with trample "blocked" by curtain of light will still be assigned to the defending player/planeswalker.
