I'm planning on playing this on Saturday at the GPQ at my LGS. It has been running stellar so far, but only having 1 each of the Command, Avatar, and Scale Blessing bothers me.

No fetches or temples? :(

Haven't needed them. I've had no issues with land. So much so that I took out the {evolving wilds}

Kaylesh

Maybe change the sieges? In my experience {Citadel Siege} makes for mad power fast, where I'm not that sure you need the ramp of {frontier siege} more.

I ran it the other way first (I didn't have 4 frontiers yet) and it ran ok. Having 4 frontiers makes pumping my {Heroes Bane} much easier. And with the added draw power of {Inspiring Call} and {Abzan Beastmaster}, the extra mana makes for much more spells played.

To be honest, I've been fighting taking out the Citadel sieges too haha

No {Hardened Scales}? What sorcery is this! Other than that take a good look at your one ofs. Why just one? Is it better to bump up the numbers on something else?

I haven't seen Hardened Scales. That's awesome. I'll have to check that out. And the 1 ofs are cause I haven't gotten more than 1 yet. I'm trying to get more of them. And I'm debating a rapid revamp of my SB

Was about to suggest the same. h scales is so nice

Some solid SB options are,

{Mistcutter Hydra} vs control and if mono {U} devotion becomes a thing again.

{Erase} artifact removal is irrelevant so this is going to be better than {Naturalize}.

{Plummet} might be worth it due to the massive amounts of rampaging dragons that just joined standard.

{Hero's Downfall} cause Ugin.

{Drown In Sorrow} vs aggro.

{Bile Blight} vs tokens and Elspeth.

I also feel like {Sorin, Solemn Visitor} might be main board material.

DirtyMustachio

Sorin would  be nuts, erase is a realllllly good side right now, maybe an utter end in side or so, instant removal is so strong

Dsx Cherno

I think {erase} would be good. I've been on the fence with {plummet}. I'm normally moving fast enough that my opponent has to devote more resources to stop me, and in the small testing was able to have against other standard decks, by the time they got dragons out, they were having to use them to block Heroes Bane to buy an extra turn. I'll put it on maybe list. As far as some people my the other Theros block cards, I'd be lying if i said I wasn't hesitant to put them in, since the block is close to cycling out. I'll play test them and see how it feels. And if I add those black cards, I'll need to redo my land setup, or sideboard some swamps.

If you want the deck to be the best it can be don't think about rotation. Your mana base will need work if you decide to add my sideboard suggestions. Mana in standard is pretty good ATM so I wouldn't worry too much.

64 cards? Gotta cut 4 of something.

I'd suggest map the wastes and one heroes bane.

Agreed with this. I also think you can find better finishers than {heroes bane}. Namely {polukranos, world eater}. He can also get counters with monstrosity and can wipe opponents board with lots of mana. I get the synergy but if your paying 5 mana and then spending 4 more mana before damage to try to get in for 8 and your opponent {ultimate price}'s it that's gonna feel really wasteful. At least polukranos is undercosted cmc wise so should be a big enough threat on its own since it's coming down early enough where your opponent can't outpace it.

I'd also try to find room for 4x {avatar of the resolute} and 4x {enduring scalelord}. That will make this deck much more consistent. I'd cut all {map the wastes}, one {inspiring call} since you don't want to be drawing these instead of dudes, and id cut {cached defenses} since if you have no creatures out this spell literally does nothing. Sorry for the long post but I've been wanting to comment on this since you posted it but haven't had time. Good luck!
