Tinkering with this. I kinda love it. I don't think I've broken legacy wide open but this list is super fun to mess with.

It's a grinder.  {Goblin Bombardment}+ recurring creatures  {Bloodghast},  {Bloodsoaked Champion}+hand disruption. It usually only takes 5 creatures and a goblin bombardment on the board to kill them with a  {Showstopper}, even less if there is a blood artist.

Deck will be weak to hate (graveyard mostly) and weak to miracles or combo, but I feel like the hand disruption gives me a lot of gas against both of those. Abrupt decay for troublesome permanents... I feel pretty good about this list against most match ups. Lands would probably suck and 12 post would totally suck, but otherwise...

Oh, rtfc, huh? The plan is still the same minus that. I had  {Cauldron Haze} Where the showstoppers were before so I'll go back to that.

{Cauldron Haze} seems bad if all your creatures are X/1s

{Blood Artist} wants them to come back and die as a state based action, so it's not that bad.

So if you have three creatures out, you get a lightning helix. Seems bad

If you have a  {Goblin Bombardment} and 3-4 creatures out including a blood artist its 6-8 damage gain 6-8 life. And you still get to recur your bloodghasts and champions.

Those would be really good but I felt like cmc4 was too much. I'd have to test it though.

Right, but only 3-4 of that comes from the persist, which means it functions as an extremely conditional lightning helix at best. Hence why I think it's bad.

Yeah, you're probably right there. Maybe  {Purphoros, God of the Forge} Would be better there.
