Can {teysa, orzhov scion} count as one of the white creatures I sac with her ability?

Yes, but only as a white creature

I should clarify, as you sac her with her first ability, the second will not happen as she has been sac'd

The reason she doesn't trigger her second ability is because it says "Whenever another black creature you control dies..."  Otherwise, she would count herself.

Haha I thought it was a her too. I said it at first than everyone said him...dang peer pressure making me change people's gender.
