How come the foil cards I've distinguished in my trade binder no longer show foil next to them? Maybe it has something to do with updating my private page?

If you manually add anything to your private page, when you press the "update my private page" button, it erases all manual additions

Go into your trade binder itself (the one that shows the books for binders). Then select the card you want to mark and click the foil button. Then update your private page and it will be correct.

Yes but condition is only seen by you. Good to check to remember yourself, others just can't see it.

It's up to you to make clear to your trading partner the condition of your cards. Unless otherwise stated, it is assumed cards are NM
