Mageta the lion

Im thinking about building a {mageta the lion} half equipment-voltron/ half super-control EDH deck. Any thoughts on how to survive big flyers? Or on some really good equipment for mageta? Should I blow up lands? Or just creatures? Good enchantments to make me hard to kill?

{Indestructibility}, {Cho-Manno's Blessing}, {Guildscorn Ward}, {Holy Mantle}, {Pentarch Ward}, {Spectra Ward}, {Tattoo Ward}, {Spirit Mantle} Are some voltronish commander enchantments that I can think of. Also {Heliod, God of the Sun} Will be a must because he won't die to his effect. Also if you're going to have lots of enchantments use {Ethereal Armor}. And because mono white you'll have lots of plains {Armored Ascension}

You wants ways to fill up your hand as well too. I would worry too much about flyers cause you can always threaten to blow the board in response to anything....but it still is useful to run the usual suspects {Swords to Plowshares} and {Path to Exile}.

The one two flyers I worry about are {scion of the ur dragon} and {karrthus, tyrant of Jund} because they can hit the board the same turn I do, and kill me pretty quickly. Any sweet equipments?
And how do I fill my hand in white? I have {staff of Nin}, but that's the extent of my knowledge. (Without giving opponents cards with {howling mine} effects)

Off the top of my head {Coercive Portal}, {Commander's Sphere}, {Mind Stone}, and {Mind's Eye} For artifacts

White would be {Armistice} And that's all I can really think of
