Is {Diregraf ghoul} really a trigger ability?

cltrn81

{Torpor orb} won't prevent it from coming into play tapped if that is what you are asking.  A trigger would say when "creature " comes into play "this" happens.

cltrn81

If it said when diregraf ghoul enters the bf, tap it.  That would be a trigger.

Fenster

Right im kinda dumb with words but thats what i wondered. It will still come in tapped as i thought?

BadLuckIrish

yes the orb only stops triggers not how creatures enter the BF (like the ghoul or Bloodthirst or the like)

Fenster

Quick replies! Awesome, thanks!

TBNL

Piggybacking on this....
Does Torpor Orb negate undying? As in would the creature come back with or without a counter on it?

Fenster

Since its triggered by entering the gy and not the bf its not affected by {Torpor dust}

So it still comes back with a +1/+1?
