Artemis Fowl was good! Also.....I know that no teenager in their right mind actually likes this book, but don't judge: Great Expectations :o
And another lesser known but still great series is the Gone series by Michael Grant. And the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker!!!!

YUSSSSS. I am a huge Eoin Colfer fan. Artemis Fowl, anyone?

Also, just finished the Legend series by Marie Lu. Quite good.
Both of those are awesome! No matter how obsessed everyone was with the hunger games, I still think that the Legend series was much better, if you want to read a dystopian future kind of book. (Along the same lines, what do we think of the Divergent series?)

Never bothered.

Best dystopian series: THE HUNT. It's a trilogy by Andrew Fukuda. It's vampires, but some incredibly well. Can be graphic (like, the entire time).

Also my favorite soft scifi is probably the lost children series by Margaret Peterson Haddix. A story about what the hell happened to all of the children of history who went missing (Virginia Dare, the daughter of Einstein, the brother princes who's name I forgot, etc).
