I think her name just sounds similar to shandalar... Chandra Nalaar, that's it.

And I thought Shandalar was were slivers and other things that work their way into "core sets" came from as well.

Also I can't remember if half the names I mention are Magic, WoW, or LoL related. It all blends into a mesh of nerdy lovelies

I'm pretty sure Shandalar is just the plane that core sets take place on. They currently have a sliver problem there.

That's more of a player pov. The lore master would likely from on the use of Stronghold and M15 slivers together.
