If I have {doubling season } and {parallel lives } in play and I put a token in play.....wouldn't be enchantments continue to trigger off one another for infinite tokens?

A replacement effect can only effect a given event once.  You'll chose the order both effects apply, and in the end you'll end up getting four times the tokens.
