Junk without goyf or bob

os it possible to build a good modern deck without  {Tarmogoyf} Or  {Dark Confidant} In junk colors? I'm assuming I need Rhino power, but I'm not sure of what else.

Pod uses neither. I'd check out the latest LSV videos with Rhino Pod.

Definitely!! Bob is bad in a Delver/Burn format and {Hooting Mandrils} is a 10¢ Tarmo!! Now if money ain't an influence I'd prefer Tarmo BUT Hooting Mandrils is surprisingly good and occasionally showing up in Modern and Legacy!!

{Arbor Elf} is also an incredible mana dork because if you are using fetches/shocks, he can generate all of your colors. He is what I am using in play of Hierarch in my Pod deck.

To each their own. I only run 3 Thickets, so it really hasn't come up for me.
