•{Necropotence}: That card advantage though...

•{Bloodchief Ascension}: This card can get out of hand in EDH very quickly, and at only 1 mana, I approve.

•{Crystal Ball}: Seems pretty essential in a deck like this, filter your top to your bottom to Grenzo it out!

8 cards a piece now. Disappointment has subsided, looking forward to this deck.

•{Rings of Brighthearth}: This card is quickly becoming one of my favorite cards in EDH. It allows for 2 Grenzo activations which can be really good if we're shooting in the dark, it also empowers tons of other interactions. This card is nuts.

•{Barren Moor}/{Forgotten Cave}: Auto includes. Cycling is such an amazing ability, turning a late game land into a cantrip is also pretty damn good. (You can Rings these too, to get 2 cards... See, Rings is so good!)

•{Goblin Charbelcher}: Half-decent removal, and allows you to set up your bottom for Grenzo. (*Ahem* Rings)

•{Sensei's Divining Top}: For obvious reasons. (With an infinite mana combo you can even draw your entire deck with Rings. Let's just keep it simple here though.)

•{Darksteel Pendant}: Moar filters!!! (Rings?)

Since you upped the ante on suggestions I will add some more.  I think this deck should be almost all creatures since you will increase your odds of hitting with Grenzo.

1. {teferis puzzle box} because you can put the cards from your hand in any order on the bottom and draw that many more.....once you have this in play it should be pretty easy to set up a couple awesome creatures to cheat it play with Grenzo

2. {ogre battledriver} so your new guys get haste and +2/0.  I see this deck as wanting to swing a lot since you can potentially cheat in a lot of guys a turn and this haste with bonus could close games that much quicker.

3. {lim dul the necromancer} because their creatures can so easily become yours when they die......and again it's low power is easy to cheat into play with Grenzo ...... then you get sheoldred out too and that's just mean or you could use {it that betrays} over lim but I like how easy it is to cheat lim into play

4. {sheoldred the whispering one} is one of my favorite cheat into play targets for obvious reasons

5. {lightning greaves} would be one of the few non creature spells I would run just to protect Grenzo

6. {Pyhrexian Obliterator} just because he is a power house creature that no one wants to block, attack into, or send direct damage his way.  Easy to cast or easy to cheat into play

7. {Furyborn Hellkite} because Grenzo recognizes it as a 6 power creature and you get to put it in play as a 12/12 flyer if bloodthirst is activated (You could even wait til one of your opponents activates bloodthirst for you on their turn since you can activate Grenzo anytime)

8. {kalitis bloodchief of ghet} because reusable spot removal for 3 mana that also gives you a creature.....is never a bad thing....and his 5 power makes him easy to get into play with Grenzo ;)

I will also say that {reito lantern} is one of the best suggestions so far.  So my hats off to Munchlax

Grenzo's ability costs {2} and doesn't have a tap in the cost, so {Rings of the Brighhearth} is completely redundant when it comes to him.

A bit of an oversight on my part, very true. Nvm, that spot can be used for a fatty instead.

Forgive me. I am late. I'll compile my list, but it might have some duplicates of previous posters.

{Terminate} - self explanitory.
{Blightning} - one of the best spells ever. IMO
{Dreadbore} - because why not?
{Hero's Downfall} - best removal in standard right now.
{Pyroclasm} - gotta deal with those early threats.

What early threats? This is EDH...

Turn 3 {narset, enlightened master} of course.  Also, killing mana dorks can be devastating.
I agree with Coletrain, I think this deck should be nearly all value creatures.

As an add on to my original post.
{Caldera Hellion} because it is a good wipe for the smaller guys, and you can make him bigger with anything that will die on your side.
{Crypt Ghast} is a lovely ramper for black.  Making Grenzo bigger and casting more things is always nice.
{Nirkana Revenant} another ramper that can turn into a very heavy hitter.  Always nice.
{Hythonia The Cruel} is an emergency board wipe when you need it.  And then stays on the field, just to be annoying :)
{Sigil of Distinction} is a good way to make Grenzo bigger.

Hmm I'm not sure how good blightning is in EDH? I feel like the 3 damage will never matter so I'd rather run something like
{Mind Twist}.

In EDH, having a winning response to what would be a loss is better than spike combo ftw :P
