Playing in side events it became really clear that {Scapeshift}  is so OP now legit it is so OP it won a GP prior to Cruise and Digs and now it runs 3 {Dig Through Times} that just put it ways over the top! It's insane how good the deck is right now. It MBs {Anger of the Gods} (or {pyro clasm}) for aggro and has access to everything control needs ramp into cryptic .. Idk guys but I think I might play mill soon lol

{Dig Through Time} is a better card than {Treasure Cruise}, and I am glad it is finally getting recognition. The card is making a huge splash in Modern: Scapeshift plays it, Splinter Twin plays it, UWR control plays it... Even in legacy it is starting to see play in Stoneblade, Miracles and various blue decks (such as Landstill).

Also don't be fooled by T1 {Search for Tomorrow} there are 2 Valakut decks 1 is Valkut Ramp into big things like Prime Time and Emrakul (the deck I run) and the actual Scapeshift deck!

Also I didn't play a single URx delver match! I was shocked to see very little Delvers out there! In there spot was Jeskai Burn (only creatures were Swiftspear and Gob. Guide) splashing U only for Cruise

So interesting meta but .... {SCAPESHIFT} OP!

Post your list Matteo!

Did but I'll bump it. It's called something like this top 8ed aGP

Dig through time is a legit good card. Great for multiple archetyps in modern,  but not oppressive

I guess you haven't played versus {Scapeshift} then

Tell me what turn does scape shift kill on?

Have 7 lands in play, cast {scapeshift}, search for 6 mountains and {valakut molten pinnacle}, and bam 18 damage to the face.

I have had this deck buidt for a long time and yes adding dig makes it much more consistent

Dig can do very powerful things for combo decks and is overall a better card IMO. I still stand by my statement that they will both be banned at some point for modern only. I think legacy can adapt.

About time people realize what the best deck in modern is ;)

Actually! Like omg I played it with my Valakut through the breach deck and had a t5 Emrakul from summoning trap and the Scapeshift player was like ok cryptic tap draw 2 turns in a row then dug through time and got Scapeshift lol after that game I was like well there's nothing I can do here lol

Seriously Scapeshift is becoming OP bc it's a control deck with a combo finish on T6 or T7 as they ramp hard. That's something that UWR can't do even if they have the Kiki Resto Combo it's very inconsistent. Scapeshift is really hard to race

Well after 1 attack from a {wurmcoil engine} the have no more win con.  ;)
Agreed. Also when decks like burn that kill before combo are a large part of meta. There has also been a resurgence of hatebear/ d and t decks that wreck the deck.  Although scape is a great deck it's by no means oppressive, and has hate unlike attemped hate for ur delver that just dilutUtes your deck.

With a nice array of removal spells, d&t becomes an easier matchup. Scapeshift has a good matchup against all tier one decks, except for burn and affinity, which makes it a really good tournament deck

Answer to affinity is always anger of the gods
