Not to mention that line of text has no meaning in the rules, since permanents only exist on the battlefield.  It would have to say Object.  And then, you have some other questions.  What if I hit a commander with this card while it's in the command zone?  Does it go to its owner's graveyard?  Does it stop existing?

My uncle claims that there will be emblem removal, one day. I think that there should never, ever, be emblem removal. That's one of the key things about Planeswalkers, that's why most of them are such a threat. Of course there are walkers like {Aishok, Nightmare Weaver} that don't have emblems, but the reality is that if a Planeswalker sticks to the board long enough it permanently affects the game. Printing a card that changes that isn't a good idea. Nevermind that the whole point in the command zone is "Can't touch this."

Instead of removing emblems remove Planeswalkers. I don't personal like the idea of {Hero's Downfall}, but it's there if you need it. (And is an amazing card.)
