Infinite 3/3 golems

Stumbled across this one while meta-ing the time away with my box of commons.
Have {golem foundry} and {midnight guard} on the field. Play {ornithopter} and {retraction helix} on guard. Return ornithopter, recast, repeat 300M times for 100M possible golems. Greatest part is, you don't have to create them all at once unless someone decides to nuke your foundry. The counters will just sit there.
Could be pulled of T4 without ramp.

I've put together a deck with this combo from cards I owned. Since I found a {psionic gift} and an {intruder alert} and some flicker artifacts as well, I decided to play on that combo too. I dunno how to link from phone, but it can be found in casual: Infinite Artificer.

muc easier way to do it is  {Golem Foundry}and they trigger themselves infinitely you just need something else to stop the combo like a return to hand or destroy artifacts otherwise it just keeps going and game ends in a draw

Whenever you cast an artifact spell. So no infinite loop there for creating the golems. Even if it were etb, you would have to choose to create the golem, so no loop

Not really, because the ornithopter is the artifact that you cast over and over again and why would you NOT choose to create the golems...

Not really, because the ornithopter is the artifact that you cast over and over again and why would you NOT choose to create the golems...
Even if you would choose to be able to make a zillion golems and put them on the battlefield, the loop stops if you want it to. If ever you cannot stop the loop, the game is a draw.
A good reason to keep the golems as counters ( which you can make into golems at instant speed) would be a board wipe such as {wrath of god}

Sideboard

Add {pennon blade}. If you don't have any I have one I might be willing to trade. Then you could splash for {fling} and skip any messy blocking.

If you attack with over 7 beyond what they can block, blocking is not really an issue, lifegain decks not taken into account. Nevertheless, nice finisher.

It's mostly just in case they have a {fog}. Or you could play a {momentous fall} on a Pennoned golem. :))

300M and 100M? Broski, you haven't lived until you've made Graham's number golems. And even then you're only starting to get into big enough numbers.
