You might be right but I seriously think it's a solid card. I mean five mana for 9 damage isn't bad at all. Having {Goblin Rabblemaster} and such odds are he'll get the raid trigger with relative ease.

5 mana for nine damage isn't good at all. First of all, it's five mana. That's a big no-no in mono red. Howl is a dead card without burn in hand...

My mono red decks have supported five mana spells just fine. And he has other cards to copy besides burn. {Hordeling Outburst} for starters.

I'm going to have to lean your way as you clearly have more experience, but I'm just thinking it's worth a shot.
